Screen mesh size should also be considered when choosing the pellet machine
We need to consider many factors when buying the pellet machine, such as the material, the screen mesh size and the right motor according to the output, etc. But the principal factor impacting the pellet machine is the screen of pellet machine. The pore size and quality of screen directly affect the screening efficiency of pellet machine and shorten the service life of screen mesh as well. Therefore, the feeding of pellet machine should be continuous and uniform with proper amount in order to guarantee the high screening efficiency.
1. We all know that the length of the screen mesh determines the screening efficiency and the width of the screen determines the output of pellet machine. According to years of experience in production of wood pellet, we find that when the length-width ratio of screen is 1-2.5:1, the screening effect is the best. In order to increase the yield, we can adjust the way of feeding to make the material along the whole screen, which would not only increase the production, but also make good use of the screen and avoid the phenomenon of idle resources;
2. Increase the motor power: motor power is the main source of power for screening and the main force of complete screening work. Increase the motor power appropriately can increase the production of pellet machine;
3. Increase the mesh opening rate: when the opening rate is higher, more material would pass through the screen mesh per hour, which would improve the screening effect and the production of pellet machine;
4. Wet sieving can be used if the condition permits. Wet sieving can not only increase the production, but also reduce the dust produced by the material in the screening process and avoid atmospheric pollution, which is good for environmental protection;
5. Reduce the blocking of screen mesh. More bouncing balls can be used for cleaning the screen with ultrasonic device. If the screen mesh is blocked, it would reduce the amount of material through the screen mesh, thus reducing the production. That keep the sieve pore unimpeded is also one of the good ways to increase production;
6. Dip angle of the pellet machine can be adjusted. Generally, the dip angle of pellet machine is 0 to 20 degrees, but the dip angle of fixed screen is usually 40-50 degrees. Appropriate angle is beneficial to reduce the thickness of the material and realize thin layer screening. As we all know, too large feeding amount would lead to serious material accumulation, which would not only results in the decrease of screening efficiency, but might damage the screen mesh.
