Flat die pellet machine has the advantage of high pressure. The clearance between dies in pellet machine can be adjusted simply, and the whole equipment has small volume, light weight and it can be operated in indoor. And flat die pellet machine has strict requirement on the moisture of raw material and its capacity is slightly lower, wear of pellets is large. Besides, the consumption of power is higher.
While the ring die pellet machine has the advantage of high capacity and low power consumption. The replacement of the die and roller is simple. However, the pressure is small and heat dissipation is a little difficult. There are two differences between ring die and flat die pellet machine when making pellets:
I. Feeding method:
In the process of granulation, the ring die pellet machine adopts the mechanical forced feeding method, and the raw material enters the granulation chamber by high-speed rotating centrifugal distribution. The flat die pellet machine is by the weight of the material itself to the pressing chamber.
Ii. Pressure:
For the die with the same diameter, the diameter of the roller of ring die pellet machine is limited by the diameter of the ring die, so the pressure is limited. And the roller diameter of the flat die pellet machine is not restricted by the diameter of the die, which can increase the bearing space inside the equipment. Using large bearing can strengthen the roller bearing ability within the equipment, which not only improves the pressing force of roller, but also extend the service life of the equipment.
