The production process of biomass pellet plant

The equipment used in biomass pellet plant mainly includes the crushing machine, dryer, pellet machine, conveyor, cooling machine and packaging machine. The production of biomass pellets consists of raw material collection, crushing, drying, granulation, cooling and finished product packaging process. The operation of each equipment and each step has strict specifications and quality requirements in order to ensure the quality of the product.

Material collection: there are a lot of materials that can be used to make pellets, such as crop straw, fruit shell, tree bark, sawdust, etc. Before production, you need to store enough raw materials for at least one week to avoid delay normal production. Meanwhile, the raw materials should be stored safely: fire prevention and rain protection.
Raw material crushing: when making pellets with biomass pellet machine, the raw materials is required to be 3-5mm, so the raw materials we collect need to be crushed. Depending on the size of the raw material, we can choose the cutter grinder or hammer mill.
Raw material drying: the water content of raw materials for making pellets can not be more than 18%. If the water content is too high, the pellets would be broken easily.
Raw material conveying: in order to save labor, we usually configure a conveying equipment. The processed material is fed into the feeding port of the pellet machine through the conveyor.
Raw material pelleting: biomass pellet machine is the main equipment of the whole production line. According to the production and use, the pellet machine can be divided into flat die and ring die pellet machine. The pellet machine produced by our company has stable operation, high pressure, large density and high molding rate.
Pellet cooling: the temperature of the newly made biomass pellets is as high as 80 or 90 degrees that it would cause a fire if being packaged immediately. Thus, the pellets must be cooled to normal temperature before it can be bagged into the warehouse.
Pellet packaging: the pellets after cooling is transported to the packaging machine by conveyor. Pellets are measured and packed in bags by the packaging machine, and finally sent to the finished product warehouse. Then, it can be sold directly.
