Why the ring die of wood pellet mill need to be replaced timely?
As the saying goes, sharpening your axe will not delay your job of cutting wood. Regular maintenance for the ring die of wood pellet mill is of great importance for the economy and effective use of ring die. In the process of production, the operator often find blocking, wear and sealing when in use of ring die. In that case, if necessary maintenance is not made, it will lead to the decrease of production and increase of energy consumption. The basic maintenance method of ring die is to rub down the internal surface of the ring die, and then carries on the chamfering.
Get to know more about the wear of ring die
When the ring die of wood pellet mill is working, the material used need to be cleaned to avoid the material mixed with large pieces of sand, gravel, iron, bolt and scrap iron and other hard particles. Since these inclusions would accelerate the wear of ring die in wood pellet mill. Besides, the hard inclusions of large amount would lay more stress on the ring die and make the ring die fatigue. Once a certain force exceeds the ultimate strength of the ring die, the ring die of wood pellet mill may burst.
When operators are installing or replacing a new ring die of wood pellet mill, they should avoid bruising or scratch of the conical surface, and make necessary cleaning of the surface and the conical surface of the coordinate driving rim, lubricating and assembling if the ring die is assembled through the conical surface. Do not bruise or scratch the conical surface when replacing the ring die and oil it for protection. For wood pellet mill that need to replace the ring die frequently, regular inspection on the drive rim is required to prevent the excessive wear that may lead to centering pin fracture of the die. Since excessive wear will influence the cooperation between the ring die and rim. If it is not tight, shear force would be produced on the centering pin when the ring die works to make it breaks. When that happens, don't be deceived into thinking that the strength of the pin is not enough and change it with a higher strength one, which would eventually lead to the damage of ring die and frequent fracture of safety pin. Therefore, it is quite necessary to make protection and regular inspection on the matching conical surface of the ring die and the cone of the coordinate transmission rim.
