Advantages of biomass molded fuel

1.It can realize ecological zero emission of CO2 of the green house gas. The energy resources of biomass molded fuel come from solar energy fixed on plant through photosynthesis in the natural world. The expelling CO2 of burning comes from absorbing of CO2 during its growing process. So, the biomass molded fuel has the features of zero emission.



2.Typical low carbon green energy
1)Low carbon energy: biomass molded fuel are mainly fugitive constituent, and the carbon content is only about 15%. So it is a typical low carbon fuel.
2)reduce the emission of SO2: the sulfur contents of biomass molded fuel are lower than the diesel oil, which is only 0.05%. There is no desulphurization device to realize emission reduction of SO2.
3)Dust emission is up to the standard: the ash content of the biomass molded fuel is less than 1.8%, which is 1/10 of the coal based fuel. Simple setting of dust collector can meet the standard of dust emission.
4)To reduce the generation of NOx: the nitrogen content of biomass molded fuel is lower and the oxygen content is high. It can reduce the request for air and reduce the generation NOx of during burning process.

3.The calorific value of biomass molded fuel
The density of biomass molded fuel is usually about 1.1-1.3T/m3, the calorific value is about 4800±100Kcal/Kg.  The heat value of 1 Ton biomass molded fuel is equal to 0.8T standard coal or 0.51Ton diesel oil/fuel oil.

4.Typical project of circular economy. The BMF comes from agricultural or forestry waste, it avoid of generation of the social problem of Competing for human food and Competing for human land, comparing with biomass alcohol based fuel which takes cereal as material and biodiesel which takes oil crops as materials. The raw materials have the features of wide variety, low content, lower cost, circular growing and inexhaustible supply. It is a typical project of circular economy.
