Why choose sawdust fuel pellets?

Sawdust pellets, as a kind of high-tech environmentally friendly products, are mainly made of pine, fir, birch, poplar, fruit wood and orange stalks of crops as raw materials, and are compressed and molded by professional machinery and special technology at high pressure and low temperature. Its advantages are numerous:

High calorific value, low emission: the calorific value of sawdust pellets is usually between 3900-4800 kcal/kg, and the combustion efficiency is more than 95%. At the same time, in the combustion process, sawdust particles produce very few pollutants such as sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and dust, which is a low-emission environmentally friendly new energy material.

Easy to store and transport: the high density and small volume of sawdust pellet fuel makes it easy to store and transport, significantly reducing transportation costs.

Renewability and resource utilization: as a biomass fuel, sawdust pellets are renewable resources. The ash after burning is high grade and high quality organic potash fertilizer, which can be used in agricultural production, realizing the resourceful utilization of waste and in line with the concept of sustainable development.

This output is suitable for first time customers investing in a pellet production line because of the low investment cost of the machine, the small floor space required and the simplicity of operation and maintenance.

Sawdust pellet production process

Sawdust pulverization: The size of the particles directly affects the pelletizing effect, it should be ensured that the sawdust particles are less than 6mm to avoid clogging the pelletizer. Use hammer crusher for crushing, recommended to use FSPZ56 hammer mill, capacity of 800-1100 kg / hour.

Drying: The ideal moisture content for granulation is 10-15%. It is recommended to use KM1100 rotary drum dryer, which is simple in structure and easy to operate, and can fully meet the demand of 1T/H sawdust pellet production line.

Pelletizing: Pellet machine is the core part of sawdust pellet production line. It is recommended to adopt KMPM420 ring die wood pellet mill, equipped with forced feeder and 90 kW motor, which can produce 1-1.2 tons of wood pellets per hour. This model is usually equipped with 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm ring dies to accommodate the different diameters of fuel pellets required.

Cooling: After the pelletizing process, the sawdust pellets have a high temperature (80-90°C) and high moisture content (about 17-18%). A counter flow pellet cooler is used to reduce the pellet temperature to about 3-5°C above the ambient temperature and to reduce the moisture content to 12-13%, making it more suitable for storage.

Packaging: As the last step in the wood pellet manufacturing process, packaging is equally important. We offer an automatic weighing and packaging system with a highly intelligent control system for stable performance and high precision. Combined with conveying device and intelligent arm operation tool, it realizes integrated packaging of wood pellets.
