Go Greener with KMEC Biomass Pellet Mill & Pellet Plant

Biomass Pellet Plant Inspected by French Clients Before Shipp

In the beginning of November,2013, another two special clients visited Kingman. However, this time they were here to check out the biomass pellet plant with KMPM 520 biomass pellet mill included manufactured for them and the visit also involving a potential cooperation in the near future.

They are going to start with a 1.5 T/H pellet project in Northern France, close to Belgium due to the advantage of transportation. The biomass pellet plant includes the process from wood debarking to crushing, drying, pelletizing, cooling, sifting and packaging. One of the worth-to-mention part is the heating stove for dryer, which adopts gas burner as the fuel supplier for drying system. The flexibility of our drying system to put varied fuel into use can cater to clients with different demands.

France is a big potential market for pellets with already quite a long account which started in the 1980's. Production and consumption are growing each year at a reasonable rate with no big gap between offer and demand. The specific current estate of the French market can be explained at the level of demand, of offer and of external influences including public policies.

The largest factory in France start producing wood pellets for heating in Nièvre, announced its operator, while the demand for pellets flew to France with the strong growth of wood heating.

The Biosyl SMEs began in December production on its new site Cosne -Cours -sur- Loire (Nièvre), which displays a production capacity of 120,000 tons per year, confirming a report on specialized site Green Universe. This pellet plant, which represents an investment of € 21 million, with thirty employees, is 60% owned by Biosyl, 20% by 123Venture investment funds and 20% by Archimbaud, two main actors of the pellet market in France.

The wood for the production of pellets, pellet feeding small stoves and boilers, will be provided by the forest cooperative Unisylva, from forest and no more from sawmills. They have indeed become inadequate because of the revival of wood heating and decline of sawmills in France, told AFP Antoine de Cockborne, Biosyl owner. The wood used comes from "cleaning" the forest, tree cutting done by the workers to let the light pass and help neighboring trees. These cuttings were hitherto by the paper industry and chipboard, but the difficulties of these sectors in France have made them more accessible, explained to Cockborne.

French Clients for Inspecting Pellet Plant Before Shipping

During the visit , they were keen to ask about the quality inspection and packaging and shipment of the pellet plant. Kingman General Manager Evan Wang did the honor to accompany them for the visit. The talk with them goes in line with the visit by the previous French clients Philippe and Nathanael this June. France turns out to be a developed and also a booming pellet mill and pellet plant market. Against the backlash of European economic crisis, pellet plant can provide not only biomass pellet fuel, but increase job opportunities such as plant operators, truck drivers, pellet and raw material transport chauffeurs and so on.
